Delete your Besito account

This page explains how to delete your Besito account (app by Pankaj Sengar) and what happens to your data.

Option 1: in the app (instant)

1. Open Besito and tap your photo at the top left to open your profile.
2. Tap Settings & privacy.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out.

Option 2: by email (if you can't open the app)

Email support@besito.in with the subject "Delete my Besito account", from the email address you use to sign in to Besito (your Google account). We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 7 days and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, age, gender, preferences, bio and everything else you added
• Your photos, voice prompts and verification selfie
• Your matches, chats and voice notes
• Your likes, profile views, Crossed Paths, Around You history and location data
• Your notification settings and device tokens

What we keep, and for how long

• Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
• If an account was banned for breaking our Terms, we keep the minimum needed to stop the person from signing up again, and anything we're legally required to keep (for example for a police investigation), only as long as needed.
• Payment records stay with Google Play under Google's own policies.
